Inspiren Raises $70M Series C to Scale Physical AI for Senior Living

$225 million raised to date at a valuation exceeding $500 million, funding technology that helps care teams act before resident needs become emergencies

NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2026Inspiren, the leader in AI-powered solutions redefining senior living, today announced it has raised $70 million in Series C funding at a valuation exceeding $500 million. The round was led by NewView Capital, with participation from Insight Partners, Primary Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Vintage Investment Partners, Lightbank, Avenir Growth Capital, Story Ventures and Camber Creek. This brings Inspiren’s total funding to $225 million, the most capital raised and the highest valuation to date for a technology company built specifically for senior living operators, communities and residents.

The 85-and-older population is the fastest-growing age group in North America, and the residents moving into senior living today are more clinically complex than ever before, putting pressure on an already strained workforce. Adopting technology to care for this population is one of the most consequential investments a senior living operator can make. Most of what happens in a resident’s room happens with no one there to see it. Inspiren acts as a force multiplier for care teams, surfacing what would otherwise go unseen so staff can act on an emergency as it happens, and on the subtle changes that precede one.

“A decade from now, no one will accept that a resident’s needs could go unknown behind a closed door. We are already making that unthinkable in the communities we serve, and this funding puts it within reach for many more,” said Michael Wang, Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of Inspiren.

Physical AI interprets what is happening in a resident’s environment as it unfolds. Inspiren’s ecosystem combines AI-powered ambient awareness with longitudinal resident and community data, giving caregivers and community leaders the insight to act before a situation escalates. That shift turns proactive, data-driven care into improved outcomes for residents and operators alike.

Communities using Inspiren report the following:

  • Aegis Living: Residents who opted into Inspiren stayed 34% longer, with a 22% lower fall rate and 24% lower rate of injury
  • Clearwater Living: In the first three months, falls resulting in injury declined 63% and post-fall emergency room visits declined 73%
  • Solera Senior Living: A 10-month study at Lumina Las Vegas showed a 48% reduction in falls, 54% fewer hospitalizations, and 50% faster staff response times

“Inspiren’s impact is apparent across the board. Residents experience fewer falls and hospitalizations, while operators see longer stays and care teams can focus their time where it matters most,” said Nick Bunick, Partner at NewView Capital. “Few technologies can improve both clinical outcomes and community economics at the same time. That combination is what makes physical AI so compelling for senior living.”

Last month, Inspiren gave care teams a more complete picture of a resident’s situation before they arrive, launching Two-Way Voice and Alert Claiming across its eCall solution. With these capabilities, care teams know in the first seconds after a resident calls for help what is happening, what the resident needs, and who is responding. These features are rolling out in phases across Inspiren-enabled communities, with additional intelligence capabilities to follow.

“Inspiren’s impact in our memory support communities was immediate, with fewer falls with injury, fewer emergency room visits, and a care team that had real-time clarity. We are excited to continue to work with Inspiren in the coming year throughout our portfolio,” said Danielle Morgan, CEO of Clearwater Living.

Inspiren now powers care at communities across more than 80% of the largest senior housing investors, including AEW and Sabra Healthcare REIT, and by operators including Arrow Senior Living, Ascent Living Communities, Heritage Communities, Thrive Senior Living, and Wellpointe. Inspiren was named to Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026, ranking 12th worldwide in the healthcare category, and was included on Inc.’s 2026 Best Workplaces List. In addition to a customer success team comprised entirely of clinicians, Inspiren’s executive team includes leaders from Meta, Peloton, Shopify, Udemy, Auth0, Meta, 1Password, Udemy, Shopify, and Intercom.

With this funding, Inspiren will scale its go-to-market, continue advancing its hardware ecosystem, and deepen its AI platform to expand what its models can detect, predict, and act on across every setting in a community.
