Commas, the Platform Quietly Powering Billions in Online Sales, Opens to Everyone as AI Pushes Millions to Earn Online

Its sellers range from an eight-figure hypnotist to teenage sales trainers to Daymond John. Until today, most people weren’t allowed in.

MIAMI, July 14, 2026 — Commas, the software platform with integrated payments quietly powering billions of dollars a year in sales for online businesses, today opened its platform to everyone making money on the internet, ending the invitation-only access it had maintained for established sellers. The move coincides with the company’s rebrand from FanBasis to Commas (the new name is a nod to the commas that appear in a bank balance as it grows).

Commas has scaled almost entirely by word of mouth: most new sellers arrive referred by existing ones, and sellers more than double their revenue in their first year on the platform. Its sellers range from an eight-figure hypnotist to teenagers teaching high-ticket sales to sports picks communities with tens of thousands of members, alongside some of the internet’s best-known entrepreneurs, including Daymond John, Jeremy Miner, Alex Eubank, and Dan Fleyshman. Commas is backed by Left Lane Capital, Ryan Serhant, Gerard Piqué, and KSI and The Sidemen.

“AI is already starting to displace people from their jobs, and we’re building the place they land,” said Yash Daftary, founder and CEO of Commas. “Our goal is to commoditize making money on the internet, because not everyone can build a business from scratch, and on Commas they won’t have to. You can launch in minutes, scale as far as it goes, or earn inside businesses that already work. When people think about making money on the internet, we want them to think Commas.”

What opens today

Anyone can now create a free account at commas.com and sell on the same infrastructure that runs businesses at nine-figure scale. Building an online business used to mean stitching together the technical side yourself: the checkout, the marketing stack, the delivery. On Commas, one account carries all of it (checkout, funnels, courses, communities, webinars, and affiliates), and entrepreneurs can go from idea to selling in minutes, with a forthcoming AI co-pilot set to make the process even faster.

The payment engine is the core of the pitch: intelligent routing across multiple processors captures approvals a single-processor setup loses, buy-now-pay-later options let buyers pay over time while sellers get paid in full, and failed payments are recovered automatically. The result, the company says, is that Commas earns its keep through the extra revenue it captures for sellers.

“Most platforms are a collection of tools. Commas is an ecosystem,” said Alisha Mody, Chief Product Officer at Commas. “Your checkout, funnels, courses, community, and webinars all share one brain, so every product makes the others work harder and the whole system keeps finding you more revenue. You can’t get that by stitching tools together, and it’s why sellers earn more here.”

The bet

Millions are already turning to the internet to make money, and Commas is betting the shift from employee to entrepreneur will only accelerate. Later this year, the company plans to launch embedded finance, a cross-seller marketplace, and an affiliate center for people who want to earn online without running a business of their own.

“The internet economy isn’t a category anymore, it’s becoming the economy,” Daftary added. “Amazon built the infrastructure for physical commerce and Shopify built it for e-commerce. We’re building it for people whose businesses exist only on the internet, whether they’re making their first sale or their hundred-millionth.”

About Commas

Commas is where you make money on the internet. Sellers create, sell, get paid, and grow from one account: checkouts, funnels, courses, communities, webinars, and affiliates, built on a payment engine designed to get sellers paid more. Sellers doing billions of dollars a year in combined sales run on Commas, from first-time founders to nine-figure businesses, and sellers more than double their revenue in their first year on the platform. Formerly FanBasis, the company rebranded to Commas in July 2026 as it opened the platform to everyone earning online. Commas is headquartered in Miami. Learn more at commas.com.

Linux Foundation Announces Operational Launch of x402 Foundation to Standardize Internet-Native Payments for AI Agents and Applications

Foundation gathers 40 members dedicated to building an open, vendor-neutral payment standard over HTTP

Summary

  • The Linux Foundation today announced the operational launch of the x402 Foundation, a new open-governance body formed to steward the x402 protocol – the open standard for internet-native payments over HTTP.
  • The x402 protocol, contributed by Coinbase, embeds secure payment capabilities directly into web interactions so that AI agents, APIs, and applications can send and receive payments as seamlessly as they exchange data, with support for payment types ranging from traditional cards to stablecoins.
  • Founding members spanning finance, cloud infrastructure, and payments have committed to collaboratively developing the protocol under vendor-neutral governance, ensuring the payment layer of the internet remains open, interoperable, and free from lock-in.

SAN FRANCISCO, July 14, 2026The Linux Foundation, the nonprofit organization enabling mass innovation through open source, today announced the operational launch of the x402 Foundation and the completed contribution of the x402 protocol by Coinbase. The Foundation is now fully active under formal, open governance to steward the x402 protocol – the universal standard that embeds secure payment capabilities directly into web interactions, allowing AI agents, APIs, and applications to process financial transactions as easily as they exchange data.

“AI agents and automated systems are becoming active participants in the global economy, yet they have lacked a native, secure way to transact,” said Jim Zemlin, CEO of the Linux Foundation. “The operational launch of the x402 Foundation marks a vital milestone in establishing an open, community-governed standard for payments over HTTP. By bringing together leading companies across finance, technology and more, we’re ensuring that the payment layer of the internet remains neutral, highly interoperable and ready to support digital commerce.”

Under the neutral governance of the Linux Foundation, the x402 Foundation will allow developers, financial institutions, cloud providers and other community members to collaboratively shape the protocol’s development. This open structure ensures that payments remain highly secure and adaptable, supporting multiple payment types, from traditional cards to stablecoins, without vendor lock-in.

Since the Foundation’s intent to launch in April, 40 organizations have joined as members. Premier members include Adyen, Amazon Web Services (AWS), American Express, Circle, Cloudflare, Coinbase, Fiserv, Google, Mastercard, Monad Foundation, MoonPay, Ripple, Shopify, Solana Foundation, Stellar Development Foundation, Stripe, and Visa. General members include Aleo, Fireblocks, Galaxia Moneytree, Hecto Financial, Injective, KakaoPay, Kite AI, LayerZero Labs, Merit Systems, NEAR Foundation, Orthogonal, Polygon Labs, Quant Network, SKALE, t54 labs, utexo, World Liberty Financial, and zerohash. Associate Members include BSV Association, Cardano Foundation, Casper and Japanese Contents Blockchain Initiative, and OMA3.

Supporting Quotes

“As AI agents take on more of the transaction lifecycle, the infrastructure behind them has to be built for control, interoperability, and trust from day one. We are excited to work with the x402 Foundation to shape open standards that let agents transact across the web while ensuring merchants can transact on their own terms.”

– Tom Adams, CTO, Adyen

“With the x402 Foundation now formally launched, American Express is pleased to continue supporting open, interoperable standards for internet-native payments. Our support reflects our longstanding commitment to helping advance digital commerce with trust and security at the center.”

– Luke Gebb, Executive Vice President, Global Innovation, American Express

“AI agents are becoming first-class participants in digital commerce, and they need a payments layer as open and interoperable as the internet itself. The x402 Foundation embodies that principle for the agentic era, proposing an open protocol for AI agents to transact programmatically, built on what customers want now, and extensible to what customers will need in the future.”

Peyton Rice, General Manager, AWS Payments and Fraud Prevention

“At Circle, we’re building the open financial stack for the agentic economy. Agents can already call any API over HTTP; x402 gives them a native way to pay for it, standardizing payment as part of the request/response cycle. With x402 and USDC, agents can make payments that clear in seconds for a fraction of a cent. We’re excited to help steward x402 as an open, vendor-neutral standard.”

– Gagan Mac, Vice President, Arc Platform, Circle

“x402 was started at Coinbase to solve a real problem – AI agents had no native, interoperable way to pay for the things they needed to do. Moving the protocol to the Linux Foundation, with dozens of members spanning every corner of internet payments and infrastructure, is how open technology earns lasting trust across an industry. We look forward to building out x402 further with the community.”

– Lincoln Murr, Head of AI Product, Coinbase

“Standards thrive when the industry actually shows up to build them. The incredible momentum behind this operational launch – and the 40 members now on board – proves how urgent a secure, native payment layer has become. Cloudflare is thrilled to welcome our new peers to the x402 Foundation. Together, we’re building the trusted, open architecture that will let agents transact at Internet scale.”

– Stephanie Cohen, Chief Strategy Officer, Cloudflare

“Agentic commerce requires open, interoperable standards that enable the seamless exchange of value across the internet. The operational launch of the x402 Foundation is an important step forward, and Fiserv is committed to helping advance this standard to support secure, scalable commerce for businesses of all sizes.”

– Sanjay Saraf, Chief Product Officer, Merchant Solutions, Fiserv

“x402 gives the industry an open, internet-native standard for payments over HTTP. This is how we keep the emerging agentic economy interoperable. The Stellar Development Foundation is proud to help shape this new standard and build out this new economy.”

Denelle Dixon, CEO and Executive Director, Stellar Development Foundation

“Most of the conversation around agentic payments stops at the transaction. But agents don’t just need to send money, they need to manage it. MoonPay is building the complete financial stack for the agentic era: the infrastructure to access and move value, the wallets to hold it, and now the intelligence to account for every dollar on the other side. x402 makes payments native to the web. We’re making sure the entire financial operation behind those payments is native to the agent.”

– Halsey Huth, Head of Ecosystems, MoonPay

“As AI agents begin to take on more of the transaction lifecycle, they will need a way to pay that is as fast and reliable as the way they already exchange data. Open standards like x402 help lay the foundation for trusted, interoperable machine-to-machine payments. We’ve been building the tools and infrastructure needed to support that future on the XRP Ledger, including support for x402 that enables agents to transact using XRP and RLUSD today. Alongside the x402 Foundation, we’re committed to helping ensure those standards work consistently across the industry.”

– Markus Infanger, Senior Vice President of RippleX, Ripple

“Stripe is building the economic infrastructure for AI. We’re excited to work with the x402 community to help businesses accept payments from agents and empower agents to become economic actors on the internet.”

– Kevin Miller, Head of Payments, Stripe

“Open payment standards like x402 are the starting point for building an agentic economy. As it scales, the importance of permissionless, scalable payment rails becomes evident, and we are focused on solving these problems on Solana.”

– Rishin Sharma, Head of AI Growth, Solana Foundation

“As people and businesses increasingly use AI agents to get work done, internet-native payments will need the same secure, trusted and interoperable foundation that powers digital commerce today. Through Mastercard Agent Pay for Machines and our work with the x402 Foundation, we’re helping shape an open, collaborative ecosystem that enables enterprise adoption and unlocks machine payments at scale.”

– Sherri Haymond, Global Head of Digital Commercialization, Mastercard

AI agents now book travel, replenish inventory, call paid APIs, and purchase compute on behalf of the people and businesses they serve, and that activity is shifting from purely making recommendations to execution. This exposes a gap in the architecture of the web, which has never had a native mechanism for one program to pay another. x402 addresses this gap. By contributing to x402, Monad Foundation will help define how the protocol lets agents discover, authorize, and settle value, which places the Foundation among the institutions shaping how agentic commerce will operate over the coming decade.”

– Raj Parekh, Head of Stablecoins and Payments, Monad Foundation

“Commerce will not run on a single agent, protocol, or payment method. The future will be built on interoperability. By supporting the x402 Foundation, Visa is helping advance an ecosystem where agents can transact securely across platforms, networks, and payment types.”

– Rubail Birwadker, Senior Vice President, Head of Growth Products and Partnerships, Visa

Paxos Labs Unveils Amplify Transit, Live First on Robinhood Chain With Nearly $30 Million Moved in Two Weeks

Transit brings predictable locked rate stablecoin conversion to platforms managing stablecoin balances
across major stablecoins, including USDC, USDG, and PYUSD

NEW YORK, July 14, 2026 — Paxos Labs, the enterprise-grade stablecoin infrastructure provider, today announced the launch of Amplify Transit (“Transit”), stablecoin conversion technology that enables platforms, protocols, and treasuries to move between major stablecoins across chains at predictable fees and locked rates. By providing the infrastructure for stablecoin conversion and movement, Transit allows platforms to maintain control over their customer relationships, interfaces, and margins. Already live and operating at scale, Transit has moved almost $30 million (as of July 13) on Robinhood Chain since going live on July 1, 2026.

Through a single API integration, Transit enables platforms to convert between USDC, USDG, and PYUSD with guaranteed output amounts and around-the-clock availability. Transit is chain-agnostic by design and initially supports movement across Ethereum and Robinhood Chain. Additionally, Amplify Transit has been selected as the integration of choice for Morpho, Jumper, Across, and Arcus as they build on Robinhood Chain.

Stablecoin adoption has reached a point where issuance is only the beginning,” said Bhau Kotecha, Co-Founder at Paxos Labs. “As platforms manage more stablecoins across more chains, they need infrastructure that allows them to move those assets predictably and efficiently. We built Transit to give platforms predictable economics at any scale while allowing them to maintain control over the experience and value they provide to their customers.”

As platforms begin supporting multiple stablecoins and operating across multiple chains, moving between those assets becomes increasingly complex and fragmented. A payments company may settle in PYUSD, a trading desk may hold USDC, and an exchange may operate on USDG, yet all of these assets must be converted, moved and unified before platforms can effectively put them to use.

Transit gives platforms a predictable way to manage this movement at scale. Exchanges, wallets, treasuries, fintechs, and protocols managing stablecoin balances receive a fixed fee per route, regardless of the size of the transaction, while rates are locked at the time of submission to guarantee the output amount before settlement. Conversions are available around the clock, including nights, weekends, and holidays, matching the always-on nature of the markets it serves.

“Robinhood Chain shows that stablecoins are becoming central to new financial ecosystems, and the volume Transit has already powered demonstrates the need for infrastructure that can move assets predictably from day one. Transit gives platforms the flexibility to support that growth while maintaining control over their economics and customer experience,” added Kotecha.

Transit adds to Paxos Labs’ product suite, acting as the movement layer of Amplify, the company’s infrastructure stack for platforms that want to mint, move and monetize digital assets. Amplify platforms can launch branded stablecoins, move between stablecoins and chains through Transit, and put stablecoin balances to work through Amplify Earn, all through a single integration.

Atombeam Appoints Cody Martinson President of Neurpac Division

Martinson Will Lead Atombeam’s Aggressive Growth Plans for Neurpac, its AI-powered Software Solution Designed to Address the Infrastructure Challenges of the AI Era

MORAGA, Calif., July 14, 2026 — Atombeam, an AI technology company that enables organizations to exponentially increase the available bandwidth of their existing infrastructure with software alone, today announced the appointment of veteran executive leader Cody Martinson as president of the company’s growing Neurpac division. Martinson will oversee all operations of the division, which includes engineering, product marketing and sales.

“Cody has a proven track record of bringing true innovation to emerging technology markets,” said Charles Yeomans, founder and CEO of Atombeam. “The demand for real-time data transmission across constrained networks — among them satellite links, cellular connections, and legacy industrial infrastructure — is accelerating faster than traditional solutions can keep up. Cody understands this problem deeply, and he understands why Neurpac is uniquely positioned to solve it.”

Powered by AI that encodes and decodes patterns within data in milliseconds, Neurpac enables compaction that makes all data far smaller, searchable, inherently secure, always accessible and lightweight for real-time exchanges. Neurpac decreases the size of data by 75% and enables any connection to process exponentially more of it, with available bandwidth on any wired or wireless network – including cellular and satellite –  increasing by a factor of 4x or more.

Neurpac can be deployed in any environment or existing stack with no new hardware in mere minutes, and works with any kind of data, including block, file, video, and SCADA. Neurpac is proven in use with financial services companies, the U.S. military and in other high-demand environments where enterprises require mission-critical data to move unimpeded in any direction even on bandwidth-constrained environments. Neurpac also enables data centers to achieve exceptional efficiency gains and is ideally suited for large-scale database transfers.

“Neurpac reflects the innovation of people like James Luciani, senior vice president of engineering at Atombeam. Previously, Jim helped found and led engineering for Akamai’s Emerging Mobile Business Unit, where he architected products that dramatically improved Quality of Experience (QoE) for mobile customers and powered in-vehicle content delivery, from firmware updates to entertainment systems. Before that, he led next-generation switching and routing product development at Ericsson, taking their internally developed family of routing products from concept through deployment,” said Martinson. “Technological milestones often require a corresponding infrastructure transformation, but what we are seeing today is unprecedented because of the sheer computing power AI requires, and its impact on existing networks, systems, and data centers. With Neurpac, businesses have an alternative to the monumental capital expenditures required to build out their infrastructure for AI and other burgeoning data and bandwidth-heavy workloads.”

Martinson brings nearly two decades of senior leadership experience to Atombeam’s Neurpac division. Before joining Atombeam he was the president, director at Telleqt, a global AI software company that specializes in enabling businesses to use predictive models to derive more value from their data. Prior to that, Martinson served as president of Artacle after serving as the CEO of DANATEQ, the provider of a self-learning cognitive analytics platform. He received his bachelor’s from Northwood University.

About Atombeam

Hillwood Invests in Dallas-Based Hexivon to Destroy “Forever Chemicals” in Water

Strategic investment will speed the rollout of Hexivon’s technology designed to eliminate PFAS in water for good

DALLAS, July 14, 2026Strategic investment will speed the rollout of Hexivon’s technology designed to eliminate PFAS in water for good

Hexivon, a Dallas-based water technology company, today announced a new investment from Hillwood, a Perot company. Hexivon eliminates polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as “forever chemicals,” from water rather than just filtering them out. The investment expands Hillwood’s infrastructure portfolio into advanced water technologies as utilities, industry and government agencies seek long-term solutions to the PFAS problem.

“We invested in Hexivon because we believe the company has developed a disruptive approach to addressing one of the most pressing environmental challenges facing communities today. We believe this collaboration can help accelerate adoption of meaningful PFAS treatment solutions across the country.”

— Ross Perot, Jr., Chairman of Hillwood

The only proven system that pulls PFAS from flowing water and destroys it for good

Most methods move PFAS around. Carbon filters, ion exchange, and reverse osmosis pull PFAS out of water, but leave waste that must be hauled off and stored. Hexivon works differently. It works at any ambient temperature and destroys PFAS at the molecular level on site. It breaks the chemicals apart and leaves nothing harmful behind.

In a 2025 pilot in Cary, North Carolina, drinking water tested at 40 parts per trillion of PFAS. After Hexivon treatment, the level was non-detectable. The system cleaned 150,000 gallons per day and made zero waste. Independent, EPA-certified labs checked the results.

Collaboration built to bring the technology to market and meet growing demand

“Hillwood brings far more than capital to this relationship. Their experience developing complex infrastructure projects, working with public-sector stakeholders and deploying long-term investment capital makes them an ideal strategic partner as we accelerate commercialisation of our PFAS destruction technology.”

— Kevin Boscamp, Chairman of Hexivon

Demand for PFAS treatment is growing fast. It is driven by new federal regulations and increased investment in water projects. In Texas, House Bill 500 (HB500) sent more than $1 billion to the Texas Water Development Board for water projects, including PFAS cleanup. Across Dallas-Fort Worth, 29 public water systems have exceeded EPA standards for PFAS, underscoring the need for treatment solutions and funding.

Together, Hillwood and Hexivon plan to accelerate deployment of PFAS destruction systems. The goal is simple: cleaner water for municipal, industrial and government customers across the United States.

Funding is available for Dallas-Fort Worth Water Systems

Texas HB500 funding can help pay for PFAS treatment in your community, and Hexivon is ready to help your system apply. The deadline is July 30, so time is short. Hexivon connects qualifying DFW water systems with engineering partners to guide the HB500 application, at no charge.
