MIND Raises $72M Series B Funding to Bring Complete DLP to the AI Era

Total funding of $112M accelerates MIND’s ambition to lead the multibillion-dollar DLP market as AI transforms both the scale of the data security problem and what is possible in solving it

SEATTLE, Sept. 17, 2026MIND®, the AI-native data loss prevention (DLP) platform, today announced $72M in Series B funding, just a year after its $30M Series A round, led by Crosspoint Capital Partners with participation from existing investors YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group. The round brings MIND’s total funding to $112M and will fuel the company’s strategic growth as enterprises rebuild data security for a world where AI moves faster than their controls. The investment comes at a defining moment for the multibillion-dollar DLP market, as AI both accelerates the risks surrounding sensitive data and creates an opportunity for MIND to fundamentally reinvent how organizations protect it.

In the past year, MIND has achieved over 17x revenue and 8x customer growth, analyzed billions of data events in real time across GenAI, Agentic AI and IT environments, and stopped sensitive data loss across hundreds of thousands of endpoints. It launched the MIND AI DLP Agents, which autonomously take on the day-to-day work of running a DLP program. MIND was also the first data security company accepted into Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program and the first to earn ISO/IEC 42001 certification for responsible AI.

“Security leaders are being asked to protect data that moves at AI speed with complex, manual and incomplete tools designed for a slower world,” said Eran Barak, Co-Founder and CEO of MIND. “DLP is a massive, established market, but it was not built with AI in mind. AI is accelerating the problem, giving people and autonomous systems new ways to access and move sensitive data at unparalleled speed. It also gives us the technology to reinvent how that data is protected. We believe this is the moment to redefine DLP and build MIND as the leader in data security for the AI era. In less than two years since emerging from stealth, we’ve built an eight-figure revenue business trusted by dozens of customers. Our results, and this funding, put MIND among a select group of cybersecurity companies scaling at this pace, but what matters most is how this will accelerate our growth and bring Stress Free DLP to every enterprise working to achieve AI governance and security.”

“As we expand our staff’s use of AI, protecting patient information without slowing innovation is essential,” said Conrad Band, CIO of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. “MIND lets us discover and block protected health information from entering AI tools across our endpoints without any performance impact. It’s given our team the confidence to keep moving forward with AI adoption while keeping patient data protected.”

“MIND delivers on ‘Stress Free DLP’,” said Mark DeCarlo, Sr. Manager Security Engineering and Technology of National Geographic Society. “We use MIND to identify and label sensitive documents and restrict public sharing. It’s giving us something we didn’t have before, which is visibility into where and when our data interacts with AI agents. It’s become a key part of how we protect data across our organization.”

AI has moved beyond experimentation. It’s now embedded in how organizations operate, making the question not whether they’ll adopt AI, but whether they can trust the data that powers it. While 90% of enterprises have deployed GenAI tools and over two-thirds are using AI agents, 65% lack confidence in their AI data security controls and 1 in 5 initiatives fail due to weak data foundations.

MIND raised its Series B to accelerate the development of its simple, autonomous and complete Stress Free DLP platform and meet the exponential demand for more effective data security to address today’s unprecedented challenges. The investment will help MIND expand its presence across key enterprise markets, deepen strategic technology and channel partnerships and scale its team to serve a rapidly growing customer base. Ultimately, it gives the resources to move faster and help organizations protect their sensitive data, whether at rest and in motion. The ambition is to do more than just modernize an established category. It is to define the next era of DLP and establish MIND as its leader.

MIND delivers complete data protection, helping organizations understand what sensitive data they have, recognize risk and take action before data is lost:

  • Discover sensitive data across SaaS, GenAI, Agentic AI, endpoints, on-premise file shares and emails
  • Classify using both the content and context of sensitive data for every file with the MIND multi-layer AI classification engine
  • Detect risky data activity with context-aware intelligence that separates meaningful risk from noise and dramatically reduces false positives
  • Remediate data exposure and security issues autonomously, reducing manual investigation and response
  • Prevent sensitive data loss with policy-driven controls that can automatically block risky activity in real time or work with users to fix risks and educate them on policies

“AI is fundamentally changing data security, increasing the importance of a unified approach to DLP that can help protect sensitive data wherever it lives or moves,” said Zach Sivertson, Managing Director at Crosspoint Capital Partners. “Since our Series A investment and MIND’s selection as an RSAC Innovation Sandbox finalist, MIND has demonstrated strong momentum. That progress has further strengthened our conviction in the company. We’re proud to lead this Series B and deepen our partnership with MIND as it helps enterprises reimagine how they protect sensitive data in the AI era.”
